Our graduate scheme starts from September 2024 and offers the opportunity to rotate across a variety of our projects to allow our graduates to gain as much experience as possible. You will be enrolled onto our Quantity Surveying Development Scheme (QSDS) which supports with working towards RICSResponsibilitiesCarry out regular site visits to take measurements and valuationsManage subcontract packages following all Taylor Woodrow proceduresSupport the commercial team with payments, liabilities and general day to day tasksAttend progress review meetings and contribute to resolving problemsHelp to procure subcontracts in line with the site contracts form (NEC)Regular use of cloud based contract software including CEMAR to issue early warnings and compensation eventsRepresent Taylor Woodrow in discussions with clients and subcontractorsPerson SpecificationPredicted 2:1 or above in Quantity Surveying related subject on a RICS accredited courseBasic knowledge of civil engineering and/or knowledge of the role of the Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environmentKnowledge of NEC contracts is advantageousFull UK driving license is essentialWilling to lodge away from home when necessary
