One of my local government clients is currently recruiting an experienced Project Support Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of extension. The role is Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
It is a hybrid working role; however, you will be required to attend the office 2-3 times a week.
Responsibilities:
* Work within the Environmental Protection (Facilities team) to support the delivery of multiple projects.
* Provide administrative support to the team as directed by the team leader.
* Organise and coordinate project meetings, manage diaries, and ensure room bookings.
* Support key project meetings by taking minutes, sending agendas, and managing specific actions.
* Prepare and maintain project programmes and schedules of work as required by the team leader or project manager.
* Maintain and update project systems, records, and files.
* Act as the first point of contact for the facilities team.
* Implement and administer the internal customer service request system to record and manage customer demand for facilities services.
