The role will manage and maintain oversight of a Targeted Youth Support provision within a Family Help service including direct line management of the staff. It will involve working with partners to support integrated working and ensure alignment to wider Adolescent and Youth Work delivery. This role is key to supporting community engagement and development within the Locality team and ensuring consistency of service provision and responsivity of the targeted youth offer as needs emerge. The role will be key to facilitating and ensuring connectivity across the Borough of dedicated youth provision, to create integrated and joined up working arrangements that effectively support young people, across a range of needs. The post holder will manage services and resources across a team ensuring targeted intervention programme plans are coordinated and meet the needs of young people and the community. Please note that a JNC recognised Youth Work qualification is desirable, or a willingness to commit to working towards this on appointment post.
