Job Description
Reporting to the Asphalt Plant Manager, you will play a key role in the production and delivery of high-quality asphalt, ensuring customer requirements and quality standards are consistently met. You will also be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all legal obligations, internal standards, rules and procedures. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders. You will bring a strong background in asphalt production, proven management experience and membership of the Institute of Asphalt Technology. Passionate about the industry, you will be keen to develop others, motivate your team and help drive continuous improvement to ensure we continue to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Working Hours
The plant typically operates between 04:00 am and 04:00 pm, Monday to Friday. There may be occasions when you are required to work outside of these hours, including nights and weekends, to meet business demands.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 4 in plant, production or health and safety.
* Proven management experience in asphalt production.
* Membership of the Institute of Asphalt Technology.
* Strong background in asphalt production.
