We are looking for a Weekend Menu Clerk to support patients with ordering their meals; we have moved forward with digital meal ordering, using tablets to allow patients to make decisions in real time about what they’d like to eat that day.
Main duties of the job
On a day to day basis you will:
* Support patients with food choices
* Take food orders
* Provide information about each meal choice
* Assist with decision making
* Take into account special dietary requirements
* Work as part of a team to deliver a seamless catering service

Person specification
Education and Qualifications
* A good standard of secondary education, including GCSE grade A – C or equivalent
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate – or equivalent experience
* Numeracy level 1 or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience
* Previous administrative experience
* Previous experience of working in a customer-facing service, providing services directly to members of the public
* Previous experience of working with IT
