Key Duties:-
Managing and developing a small finance team
Leading the month-end close process and delivering timely, accurate reports to the wider group
Assisting with forecasting and budgeting activities
Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations
Managing VAT, Corporation Tax returns, PAYE settlement agreements, and other statutory returns
Driving continuous improvement in finance processes through best practice sharing and close collaboration with internal teams and shared services
Supporting year-end audit preparations and statutory account production
Maintaining strong financial governance and internal control procedures
The Ideal Candidate:-
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Experience working effectively in complex environments
Clear communicator who remains calm under pressure
Demonstrated success in business and process improvement initiatives
