Service Delivery Manager – Property Claims
Location: Various (UK-Wide / Flexible Work From Home and Office)
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (Based on Experience) + Performance Bonus & Excellent Benefits
Contract: Full-Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
About the Opportunity Our client, a highly respected and industry-leading Loss Adjusting firm, is currently recruiting for three Service Delivery Managers to join their Commercial Property and Private Client Teams. Following a strategic refinement of their restructuring plans, these newly created roles are dedicated to strengthening the overall customer experience. You will be instrumental in ensuring that customers, Insurers, and Brokers are kept informed at every stage, guaranteeing that services run smoothly while actively reducing delays and complaints.
What You Will Do
* Lead a small team of Adjuster Assistants to deliver timely, proactive communication after every adjuster visit.
* Make outbound calls and manage email updates to keep customers and brokers fully informed.
* Reduce avoidable chasers, noise, and delays through structured communication routines.
* Own and resolve post-visit escalations quickly and professionally.
* Use workflow and management information (MI) tools to spot risks early and maintain service control.
* Free Adjusters and Area Managers to focus on technical work by taking the lead on service communication.
What You Will Bring
* An excellent degree of knowledge of Loss Adjusting Property claims alongside strong customer service skills.
* Proven experience in claims, loss adjusting, or another service-driven role.
* Confidence in leading a small support team, with a minimum of 2 years of management or team leader experience being highly desirable.
* A clear, organized, and proactive working style with excellent oral and written communication skills.
* A good degree of IT competency and literacy, coupled with the ability to work accurately under pressure to meet strict deadlines and service standards.
* Demonstrated personal and professional integrity, the ability to lead by example, and the capacity to contribute positively as part of a team or in isolation.
* Ideally, you will be Cert CILA qualified or demonstrate a clear commitment to working towards this qualification.
