A Vacancy at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
An opportunity has arisen to join the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust (UHMBT) as an Occupational Health Senior Administrator; the post is permanent 22.5 Hours, primarily based at Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
The post holders will be working and supporting an experienced administrative team and will have shared responsibility for ensuring professional admin support is given to allow the continuation of services provided by the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service.
Working with the service Business Manager, the post holder will provide regular accurate updates of data to demonstrate departmental activity/trends in line with service demands to ensure agreed KPI’s are met.
The post holder will help support the day-to-day management of the office and the development, implementation and maintenance of office practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Helping support the Business and systems manager in maintaining the administration service to University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust
* Supporting and deputising in supervision of other OH administration staff on a day to day basis across all three sites.
* Providing regular accurate updates of data to demonstrate departmental activity/trends in line with service demands to ensure agreed KPI’s are met
The post holder will carry out their work in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation.
We operate from three main hospitals: Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
Our hospitals provide a range of General Hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and various Consultant-led services. We also provide a range of planned care, including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery.
Our community services for adults are provided in people’s homes, community centres, clinics, GP Practices, community hospitals and our main hospitals. Our aim is to work with people to help them remain independent, improve their health and manage their conditions through high quality care, advice and support.
