About the Role – PMLD Teaching Assistant
In this full-time, permanent position, you will:
* Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students with PMLD
* Assist classroom teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
* Work closely with students in 1:1 and small group settings
* Support the implementation of personalised learning and care plans
* Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and other support staff
* Help with daily routines, personal care, and mobility where needed
Who We’re Looking For
* Passionate about supporting children with complex needs and SEN
* Calm, patient, and adaptable, with a positive, can-do attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience working with SEN or PMLD students is desirable
* Relevant qualifications in education or care are a bonus, but not essential
