We’re looking for a Support Worker to join a specialist SEN school in York, working with students who have Autism, complex needs, and SEMH profiles. As a Support Worker, you will be: Supporting young people in lessons, small groups, or on a 1:1 basis. Helping students to build confidence, resilience, and independence. Assisting with personal care and daily routines where required. Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting emotional regulation. Creating a safe, caring, and engaging environment for learning. What we’re looking for: Someone with a kind, patient, and resilient approach. Experience of working with young people (in a school, care, or community setting) is desirable but not essential.
