Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join our team and help us out for two days only. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is for two days only.
Responsibilities
* Operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
* Load and unload materials from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
* Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage shipments effectively.
* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
* Perform routine checks on vehicles and equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
* Handle materials in accordance with safety regulations, including heavy lifting when necessary.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment within the warehouse.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
* Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair is highly desirable.
* Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
* Strong skills in load and unload procedures, ensuring proper handling of goods.
* Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and documentation purposes.
* Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
