My client is a Top 40 firm of Chartered Accountants that manages accountancy, tax planning, and business advisory services for clients including individuals, businesses, and third sector organizations in the UK and overseas.
As a Corporate Tax Director, you will lead and manage the firm's corporate tax advisory and compliance services, providing expert advice, overseeing complex tax projects, and supporting team development.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring high-quality compliance and advisory services.
* Lead complex tax projects such as international tax planning, group restructuring, and M&A, ensuring compliance and successful execution.
* Develop client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and identify opportunities for additional services.
* Mentor team members, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
* Stay updated on tax legislation changes, sharing insights to ensure compliance and optimize planning.
* Contribute to strategic growth, lead business development, and improve processes.
* Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
Experience and Qualifications
* Approximately 10 years of corporate tax experience, including advisory and compliance roles.
* Experience in a professional services firm or large corporate tax department.
* ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax laws and complex tax advisory experience.
* Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality services.
