The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Sales Manager with a consultative approach and a proven track record in selling energy-related consultancy services. This is a pivotal role in the growth strategy, combining front-line sales with team leadership.
You will spend the majority of your time actively engaging with prospects and clients-building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and closing deals. At the same time, you'll inspire and lead a small sales team, providing coaching, support, and direction to ensure collective success.
This role is perfect for a high-performing salesperson who has gained recent team leadership experience and is ready to lead from the front, drive results, and grow the presence in both established and emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
Actively generate, pursue, and close sales opportunities through a consultative, solution-based approach.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding business challenges and positioning the consultancy services as value-driven solutions.
Lead, motivate, and develop a small sales team, fostering a high-performance culture with clear goals and accountability.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to help the team develop skills, improve performance, and achieve targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand presence in new and existing markets.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, consultancy, operations) to ensure a seamless client experience.
Monitor sales performance, reporting regularly on progress against targets, market trends, and pipeline activity.
Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build visibility and credibility
