An exciting secondment opportunity to become the Team Manager of the Home Engagement and Rehabilitation Team (HEART) – a multi‑disciplinary community mental health rehabilitation team within the Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust.
Role Overview
As Team Manager you will provide strong and consistent leadership, strategic oversight and support to a dynamic and enthusiastic team that offers goal‑oriented, person‑centred care for adults with complex and enduring mental health needs.
The role also involves participation in the division senior management team and contribution to the reform of rehabilitation services across the mental health landscape.
Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day operational management, leadership and development of the multi‑disciplinary HEART team.
* Ensure the team remains integrated, flexible, user‑focussed and recovery‑orientated to deliver a safe and high‑quality service.
* Provide management supervision and clinical support to team members.
* Support integration with inpatient, urgent care, local authorities, acute services and the VCSE sector.
* Act as a member of the division senior management team and contribute to overall rehabilitation service management.
Key Competencies & Experience
We seek an enthusiastic, motivated professional with a passion for rehabilitation and the ability to lead effectively. Candidates should have experience in community mental health services and a track record of supporting service delivery in a multidisciplinary setting.
