JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 Depending on experience BENEFITS: 29 days holiday including banks, pension, free parking etc. REF: 5557 LOCATION: HU9 TYPE: Perm A well-established Hull based company who specialise in timber treatment, timber engineering components, Domestic timber products and fire retardants are hiring for a Marketing Manager to run their marketing activities and contribute to the businesses growth goals. This is a fast-growing local based SME who have exciting goals for the year ahead and as such this is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and hands on Marketing Manager to join helping to develop and implement these. As the Marketing Manager you will report to Operations Director and be responsible for; Social Media Management * Manage and schedule content across all group brand social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc.). * Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to each business unit. * Engage with followers, respond to messages, and support community growth. * Monitor performance metrics and prepare monthly analytics reports. * Create content and monitor performance of social media ads. Design and Print Marketing * Create engaging and on-brand marketing brochures, flyers, catalogues, business cards, and other printed materials. * Liaise with external printers and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of printed assets. * Maintain consistent branding across all materials and formats. Digital Content, Website and Campaigns * Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns * Suggest improvements and updates to group websites * Design graphics and write blog posts and news articles for company websites. * Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and messaging. Brand Management and Support * Support the visual identity and voice of all brands under the group. * Keep brand assets up-to-date and accessible to all relevant teams. * Assist in internal marketing initiatives and group-wide announcements. The successful Marketing Manager should have the following skills & experience: * Proven experience in a digital or hands on marketing role * Some design experience for both digital and print media would be advantageous. * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva would be advantageous. * Hands-on experience with social media platforms & business suites * Basic understanding of marketing metrics and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights). * Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
