Job Summary
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Support Manager to join our small friendly team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business activities while supporting our members.
What you'll do
* Be the first point of contact for our members, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders, developing strong and reliable relationships.
* Manage the end-to-end support of our member training programme, managing bookings, arranging venues and providing resources for the trainers in good time.
* Oversee and improve day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
* Develop, implement, and maintain processes, policies, and documentation to support our services to members.
* Ensure our information to members through our knowledge base is up to date and easy to access.
* Ensure we have up to date data in relation to our membership that is compliant with data protection requirements.
* Identify initiatives to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and keep the business running at its best.
* Organise company events, meetings, and activities that bring people together.
* Manage relationships with suppliers, exhibitors, and service providers to ensure value and reliability.
* Monitor budgets, expenses, and operational performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
* Support the Chief Executive with reporting, data analysis, and business insights to guide decision-making.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in office management and business support.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to spot inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
* Tech-savvy and confident with tools like Office 365, Xero and CMS Systems. Knowledge of Zendesk would be an advantage.
* Someone who takes pride in being the "go-to" person who keeps everything on track.

* A salary between £30 -£33 K depending on experience, excellent employer pension contribution, 25 days plus bank holidays and career development opportunities.
