Description: Job Description: Registered Children's Manager Location: Hertford,Hertfordshire, UK Type: Permanent Salary: £60,000 per annum We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Children's Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a brand new 2 bed children's home and make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals Responsibilities: * Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring a high standard of care is provided at all times * Managing and leading a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed * Developing and implementing care plans for each child, ensuring their individual needs are met * Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements * Building and maintaining positive relationships with the children, their families, and external agencies * Promoting a safe and nurturing environment for the children, promoting their well-being and development * Managing budgets and resources effectively * Working closely with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures Requirements: * Ideally a Registered Children's Manager with a relevant qualification (NVQ Level 5 or above) but will consider a Deputy Manager * Experience in a managerial role within a children's home setting * Excellent leadership and communication skills * Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures * Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations * Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively * Experience in managing and leading a team * Must have a valid DBS check Additional Information: * This is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours per week * The salary for this role is up to £60,000 per annum plus benefits package * Opportunity to become dual registered with another home * We will consider a Deputy Manager looking to make the step up to a Registered Manager position If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and have the required skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
