Are you an experienced Finance Officer who also manages Payroll processing? Or vice versa? We want to hear from you!
Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire – full-time, in-office role, easily commutable from Bedford, Stevenage, and nearby areas.
Responsibilities include:
1. Payroll processing, including submissions to payroll bureau, HMRC, pension and benefits providers.
2. Calculations for holiday, sickness, pension, salary sacrifice, and other adjustments.
3. Payroll reporting and reconciliations, data gathering for recharges, etc.
4. Supporting month-end and year-end finance and accounting activities.
5. Analyzing HR & Payroll data such as headcount, turnover, labour costs, recruitment spend, etc.
A competitive salary is offered, along with 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, and pension. This is a fixed-term contract.
Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics, or similar industrial settings. Experience with Sage accounting software for both finance and payroll is highly desirable.
