We invite you to join our 2026 Graduate Training Scheme in Birmingham and develop your career within a supportive learning environment, gaining experience across a range of transport projects.
What we are looking for
We are looking for you to hold a relevant degree in Transport Planning or a related subject such as Geography, Civil Engineering, Mathematics or Built Environment. We are seeking graduates who can demonstrate:
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to use your own initiative and to think outside the box
Work experience in Transport Planning or Planning would be advantageous but is not essential as you’ll be learning your new role on the job and with the support from our Graduate Training Scheme.
Please note due to changes in Government Legislation we are not able to support work sponsored visas.
Role and responsibilities
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will be involved in supporting all aspects of project work including the provision of transport assessments and travel plans, junction modelling, swept path analysis and AutoCAD design. We cover the entire development cycle from site identification and appraisal through planning and design, including completion of construction delivering the best commercially driven solutions for our clients, so you’ll gain valuable experience across a range of sectors and clients.
