Role Overview
Kids Planet is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well‑being of children and young people. As a SEND Early Years Educator you will assist children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage fully in learning and reach their potential, working closely with families, staff and external agencies to create tailored support plans. You will promote an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported and able to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children with SEND to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
* Collaborate with families, staff and external agencies to develop tailored support plans.
* Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment for all children.
* Ensure safeguarding practices are upheld and report any concerns.
Qualifications
* At least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
* Excellent understanding of the EYFS.
* Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
* Experience working with children who have SEND requirements.
Additional Requirements
* Enhanced DBS check required; all staff must hold a valid Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate.
* Commitment to safeguarding training: must complete regular safeguarding training.
