The Opportunity CBW is currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to support a growing Air Conditioning Division within a leading mechanical services team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in estimating and costing across a range of commercial and industrial HVAC projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for air conditioning remedial works and call-outs
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing
* Support material ordering for approved quotations
* Learn and follow internal estimating procedures and relevant industry standards
* Work closely with technical service managers and field engineers
Key Skills & Attributes
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Basic knowledge of HVAC systems (or willingness to learn)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is a bonus
* High attention to detail and good organisational abilities
* Confident communicator and effective team player
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Experience
* Working towards or holding a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Quantity Surveying
* Previous work experience or in a construction/building services environment is desirable but not essential
* Full UK Driving Licence required
