A leading supplier and manufacturer of abrasive shot blasting equipment medias and other surface preparation and finishing equipment, based in Flintshire are now seeking to add to their team with an experienced Mechanically biased Service Engineer. This role is ideal if you have experiencing the following;
1 Install Engineer
2 Machine Maintenance
3 Plant Fitter
4 Mechanical Engineer
TheField Service Engineer role offers an interesting and varied work life with the main duties including:-
* Attending customer sites to install, commission, service and repair a range of blasting equipment.
* Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers equipment, following onsite machine examinations.
* To investigate / identify machine problems in an emergency breakdown situation both mechanically and electrical.
* Identify situations whilst on site, where productivity or efficiency improvements to equipment can be recommended to the customer.
* Full Driving License.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, both customer facing and with internal / external staff.
* Flexible working approach, which will include some weekend and unsociable working hours along with some overnight stays.
Average working week 45 to 55 hrs., occasionally up to 70hrs, Overseas work in Ireland required on occasion, our current team earn on average £45 to £60k p/a.
Field Service EngineerSkill Set

Basic electrical knowledge
Fitting, welding, and basic fabrication on site (Renewal and repair).
TRAINING COURSES PROVIDED/CERTIFICATES NEEDED
Confined Space 1 day course
Mobile Access 1 day course
Welding 1 day course
Package
Contracted hours are 40 hours. 8am to 4-30pm
Out of hours working including out of hrs travel are paid at time and 1/3rd.
Saturday working is paid at time and 1/3rd all day. (none working Sundays)
Expense = hotels, breakfast allowance, lunch allowance and evening meal allowance dependent on arrival home time, a standard for overnight.
Government backed Pension is provided.
Van for company use with fuel card.
All tools required and PPE are provided.
All certification courses for safe working are provided eg FLT/IPAF/Confined space.
