TPS Warehouse Manager

About the Role
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the TPS Warehouse Manager is responsible for running an effective and efficient warehouse, managing the warehouse team to deliver excellent service to customers. The role carries responsibility for maintaining the highest levels of stock integrity through efficient stock management and implementing TPS warehouse processes to ensure full audit traceability.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and allocate performance targets for Warehouse Operatives and Van Drivers; review targets with the Centre Manager and take action for any deviations.
* Conduct regular 1:1 performance reviews to monitor KPI achievement, provide developmental or corrective support, and motivate the team through rewards and bonuses.
* Provide a high level of service to customers by ensuring the team follows correct warehouse processes and procedures.
* Monitor delivery schedules to maintain and improve service levels and provide a professional image in line with TPS operational standards.
* Ensure inbound stock is checked, allocated correctly, and any anomalies or damages are reported immediately.
* Control stock movements out of the building prior to dispatch, guarding against unauthorised removal of parts stock.
* Maintain a stock inventory for shelf-to-system accuracy and keep stock safe, secure and in good condition.
* Conduct daily perpetual inventory checks and support the stock audit team as required.
* Process returns in accordance with TPS process manual guidelines.
* Ensure orders are picked accurately and promptly for dispatch, report delivery anomalies to the Sales Team, and maintain clear visibility of delivery vans at all times.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations (particularly manual handling practices), maintain a clean and efficient environment, and comply with established business processes and guidelines.
* Handle exchange units and cash/cheques securely in accordance with TPS process manual guidelines.
Key Requirements
* Experience managing warehouse operations or similar logistics environments.
* Strong leadership and coaching skills with a proven ability to set and review performance targets.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, manual handling practices, and inventory management systems.
* Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high service standards.
* Ability to work collaboratively with management and cross‑functional teams.
