Reporting into the Group Acquisitions Manager and part of the wider Acquisition Finance team you will support our acquisitions process, playing a leading role in pipeline management through our new M&A platform, DealRoom, as well as liaising with our local M&A teams to ensure DealRoom is being used effectively.

As well as being the primary DealRoom contact you will help manage the day to day responsibilities across all our acquisitions in due diligence and integration stages, as well as other ad‑hoc tasks as part of the wider Acquisition Finance function.

This is a new role which would suit someone who is looking for the first move into the M&A space.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

* Be the key contact and administrator for DealRoom platform through which we manage our deals process from DD phase through to Integration
* Ensuring our suppliers across the DD steams and vendors have the correct access to DealRoom to ensure a smooth acquisition process
* Helping review DD reports to ensure all findings are communicated to the appropriate teams and are being actioned
* Liaising with our internal integrations team to ensure any deal related risks are handed over as part of the onboarding process
* Helping develop a DealRoom KPI tracker and communicating findings to enhance Dealroom’s structure and reliability. Being responsible for helping maintain clean acquisition audit logs.
* Assisting the Group Acquisitions Manager in ensuring project compliance is always followed by a clear set of standard operating procedures
* Support further process improvement through DealRoom. This is a new platform and there will be opportunities to drive improvements in how we onboard clinics through the platform and ensure compliance with our standard acquisition process
* Supporting the funds flow review process by maintaining a log of improvement areas, and carrying out the post completion actions
* Support on post‑acquisition performance reviews
* Ensuring that potential clinic acquisitions have met all the necessary internal criteria before due diligence commences
* Project managing deal timelines and ensuring due diligence suppliers deliver on time.
* Taking detailed notes on calls for circulating actions and keeping projects on timeline
* Other ad‑hoc projects as defined by the Acquisition Finance team


Experience/Qualifications:

* Accounting or finance experience.
* Clear and articulate communication style. Ability to build strong and effective relationships with all levels of finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
* Ability to pick things up quickly, identify issues and proactively find solutions
* Ability to work within process/defined boundaries but find creative and innovated solutions with an investigative and challenging approach and strong attention to detail.
* Thrives in a changing environment – flexible attitude will be needed due to changing demands on the teams capacity.
* Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute administrative processes and events with minimal supervision.
* Strong IT skills, including Excel and Word and other Microsoft applications. Training on DealRoom will be provided.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. We are a flexible team but due to the nature of M&A we need to be adaptable and work at a fast pace.
