Pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
Availability and scheduling
The periods of the week we would like you to be available to work (availability windows) are listed. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will have 3 weeks\' notice of the exact shifts. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times are close to those advertised.

Responsibilities
* Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride
* Be knowledgeable about products and services in the store
* Work across service, picking, and replenishment areas as required
* Apply training to work safely, effectively, and deliver excellent service
* Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver timely routines
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events
* Know store performance and contribute to driving service, sales, and profit
* Handle products with care to maintain quality
* Represent Tesco values and follow policies
* Be prepared to accept deliveries into the store when required
