Technical Lead - Power PlatformContract: 6 months (Outside IR35)Rate: £500-£550 per dayLocation: London (Hybrid)We're working with a large, established organisation delivering a major digitalisation and process-improvement programme. They're seeking an experienced Power Platform Technical Lead to shape, build and evolve enterprise-scale solutions within a complex environment.This role suits someone senior in title and mindset, but still current and hands-on with modern Power Platform development. You'll provide technical leadership across architecture, delivery and team direction, working within an Agile, DevOps-led setup alongside onshore and offshore teams.What you'll be doing:Leading the end-to-end design and delivery of enterprise Power Platform solutionsOwning solution architecture, ensuring scalability, security, maintainability and best practiceProviding hands-on technical leadership across Model-Driven Apps, with strong understanding of Canvas Apps and PCF controls, including: Building and maintaining Model-Driven and Canvas appsEmbedding Custom Pages / Canvas apps within Model-Driven forms to deliver the best of both approachesSupporting and extending existing Canvas apps and PCF controlsDriving development standards across Power Apps, Power Automate and DataverseLeading CI/CD, DevOps and source-control practices across the teamOverseeing integrations with third-party and enterprise systems, confidently walking through data flows, security models and integration patternsWorking extensively with Azure services, including Service Bus, API Management (APIM), Function Apps and Logic AppsSupporting pro-code extensibility using .NET and JavaScript, with exposure to React and Fluent UI for PCF controls (desirable)Engaging with emerging technologies such as Code Apps, AI-assisted development and 'vibe coding' approaches (desirable)Actively working with AI tooling, including GitHub Copilot for pro-code development and Copilot Studio for no-code/low-code workflow agentsProviding strong technical leadership by: Guiding and mentoring teams of developersReviewing code, designs and architectural decisionsDefining and reviewing technical specifications and user story acceptance criteriaMaintaining and updating technical design documentationCollaborating closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and senior stakeholdersWhat we're looking for:Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Power Platform implementationsSenior-level background with recent, hands-on Power Platform development experienceStrong expertise in Model-Driven Apps, with solid experience in Canvas Apps and PCFGood understanding of JavaScript-based frameworks used in PCF (React, Fluent UI - nice to have)Strong integration experience across Azure services, APIs and secure data exchangeExperience working in Agile delivery teams with modern DevOps practicesComfortable operating in large, regulated or complex corporate environmentsConfident communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersReasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
