Senior Early Years Officer - Stenhouse Early Years Centre
Salary: £40,501 - £47,639
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
Job Description
We are now seeking to recruit a passionate and committed Senior Early Years Officer to join our team on a permanent basis as we continue to develop our service. The successful candidate will have proven experience in an Early Years setting and relevant experience of working with parents and carers.
Responsibilities
* Work with children aged 0‑3 years.
* Promote early learning and childcare with high quality play at the heart of learning and development.
* Collaborate with parents and carers.
Qualifications
You must have one of the following qualifications.
* HNC in Childhood Practice (or equivalent).
* A qualification that provides credits towards a BA in Childhood Practice and meets SSSC registration requirements.
Checks & Requirements
This role is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
Applicants who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years must provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
Employment offer and commencement in the post will be subject to satisfactory outcome of both pre‑employment checks.
