We are proud to say that our recent OFSTED inspection in 2024 cited that the school is a 'Good' school, identifying how the school is an 'inclusive school' where 'pupils of every background are provided with the opportunities they need to be successful.' We value our staff highly, and have established a truly supportive environment where staff training and well-being is at the heart of all we do. We are focused on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, and increased attainment, achievement and social and emotional development of our pupils is key so that they can navigate an ever-changing world with confidence and resilience.
We are proud to have been awarded Silver Status by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health Award and to have received the IQM Award recommended as Centre of Excellence for Inclusion, which highlights our commitment to inclusion. We have also recently achieved our Eco Schools award along with our Leading the Way award for meeting all eight Gatsby Benchmarks to support employability for our students.
We work hard to ensure we reduce workload on staff, allowing more time in the classroom to put our vision of students first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice.

The role of Teaching Assistant across our Academy is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher.
