SEND Teaching Assistant - Bamber Bridge Location: Bamber Bridge Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Pay: £109 per day Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential? We are currently recruiting for a SEND / Unqualified Teaching Assistant to work in schools across the Bamber Bridge area. This is a highly rewarding, full-time, term-time-only opportunity supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The Role: Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including complex learning needs Providing 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroom Assisting with personal care when required Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm Term time only Pay: £106 per day About You: Experience in care work, support work, or a similar setting is highly desirable Personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs is also valued Confident and comfortable assisting with personal care if required Patient, compassionate, and resilient in approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children and young people This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to transition from a care or support background into an education setting, or for those seeking valuable classroom experience.
