Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client's team. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have special educational needs, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience and promote their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with SEN in the classroom, helping them to engage with the curriculum.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation.
* Collaborate with specialists and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Help with personal care and mobility needs as required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is essential.
* A relevant qualification in education or child development (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
