Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £40k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for a multi-skilled Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor in the North West of England. The role is within a Water Hygiene / Legionella company, who holds a national presence and busy client portfolio. Applicants must possess good time management skills in order to effectively plan their daily duties. Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have experience undertaking ACOP L8 compliance duties as well as Legionella Risk Assessments
- Qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) Legionella Risk Assessing
- Fully conversant in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
- Able to produce thorough reports as well as schematic drawings
- IT literate and good written ability
- Flexible to travel as required
The Role:
- Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Produce bespoke reports as well as schematic drawings
- Cleans & disinfections on CWST
- Showerhead disinfections
- TMV servicing & failsafes
- Calorifier blowdowns
- Contacting clients to arrange access
- Representing the company in a professional manner
