UK Head Office – Manchester/ PERMANENT/ SALARY: COMPETITIVE
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for providing administrative support across key business systems. Working closely with the IT Systems Analyst, you will help maintain accurate system data and assist with the day-to-day tasks required to support operational changes and system developments at MPM.
This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:
* Own the accurate setup and ongoing maintenance of all core system data including:
o New Product Entries
o New Customer records
o Customer pricing & price bands
o Analysis Codes
* Collaborate with departments to improve workflows and drive effective use of business systems.
* Maintain and manage key Excel templates used for system uploads (e.g., New Line Forms, Customer Price Templates, Fusion Excel).
* Ensure timely and accurate uploads to Sage 200 and related platforms.
* Maintain MPM’s Sage upload templates and ensure consistency across documents.
* Provide administrative support for key business systems and portals
* Create and maintain business documents and reports using Sage Report Designer (e.g., Invoices, Order Acknowledgments, Packing Lists).
* Liaise with MPM’s ERP provider and other external service partners to resolve system support queries and maintain data integrity.
* Coordinate with third-party providers for routine system maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
* Support IT-led system improvements and assist in the rollout of new processes and tools.
* Promote and encourage best practices in business system usage across departments.
* Help ensure the business is ready to adopt system improvements by working with key users and ensuring proper training and communication.
* Promote and support best practices in IT systems and ensure successful adoption of improvements through effective communication and training.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Experience in maintaining business systems or ERPs (e.g. Sage 200)
* Strong Excel skills, including working with structured templates
* IT literate & proficient use of Microsoft applications
* High attention to detail and data accuracy
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple admin tasks
* Effective communication
* Familiarity with report designers or basic SQLs
* Understanding of business processes
* Interest in business systems and IT improvement
