About the Business Unit:
The Energy unit provides services globally across sectors such as hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable energy, and transmission & distribution networks. We offer integrated engineering and project management services throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and design to construction, operations, decommissioning, or repowering, supporting the global energy transition.
Overview of Role:
* Assist in delivering projects from planning to construction stages.
* Model volumetric earthworks and associated schedules.
* Create models of alignments, corridors, and assemblies.
* Balance cut and fill volumes, perform volume calculations, and conduct stage storage analysis.
* Produce related plan and longitudinal sectional drawings.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
Prior experience with Civil 3D features such as grading objects, surface creation, volumetric surfaces, corridors, assemblies, alignments, material quantity take-offs, and stage storage analysis is essential.
Candidate Specification:
* Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
* Interest in 3D design, modeling, and creating immersive models.
* Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies.
* Ability to manage workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Willingness to take ownership and work autonomously to find solutions.
Preferred but not essential:
* Experience in civil engineering design.
* Additional experience with Autodesk tools like Navisworks, Revit, ACC.
* Knowledge of industry modeling standards.
* Professional accreditation such as EngTech TMICE or similar.
