GSL Education are searching for a compassionate Trauma Informed Practitioner to work in schools across Leicester, supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma and require specialist emotional and behavioural support.
In this role, you will use trauma-informed approaches to build trusting relationships, reduce barriers to learning, and promote emotional regulation and resilience within a safe and structured environment.
About the role:
As a Trauma Informed Practitioner, you will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external professionals to support pupils with complex emotional and behavioural needs. Your role will focus on creating stability, consistency, and positive engagement in education.
