Are you curious about what makes the nation’s favourite brands fly off the shelves? Passionate about crafting stories that resonate with retailers, buyers, and the trade media that matter?
We’re looking for a driven PR Account Executive to join our award-winning Trade Team, working with some of the UK’s biggest FMCG names. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s eager to build their PR career, loves variety in their day‑to‑day, and wants to work in a supportive, creative, fast‑paced environment.
The day to day:
* Deliver day-to-day PR activity for a mix of FMCG, food & drink and retail clients — supporting the team across media relations, campaign delivery, content creation, and reporting.
* Draft engaging press releases, media alerts, and feature pitches.
* Confidently sell stories into key trade journalists across print, digital, and broadcast.
* Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and clients, becoming a trusted point of contact.
* Monitor, collate and share coverage, keeping clients informed with accurate, timely reporting and updating client coverage PowerPoint presentations.
* Contribute to campaign planning and creative brainstorms — sharing your ideas for how we can bring campaigns to life and deliver real results.
* Support client meetings and planning sessions, ensuring actions are captured, follow‑ups are delivered, and everything runs smoothly.
* Help organise events, press briefings and product mail‑outs, from venue sourcing and logistics to liaising with media and preparing press packs.
* Research and prepare information for features, interviews and Q&As, making sure clients are positioned in the best possible light.
* Spot and share opportunities, whether that’s a trending topic in the trade media, a new journalist contact, or a clever way to showcase results.
About you
* Prior experience as a PR Account Executive, ideally within the FMCG/Food & Drink/Retail trade sector.
* A genuine passion for trade media and a keen interest in keeping up with what’s happening in the FMCG or retail space.
* A natural communicator — confident on the phone, an excellent writer, and great with people.
* Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, whilst staying organized.
* Bring creativity, curiosity, and attention to detail in everything you do.
* Has a team‑first attitude, never shying away from jumping in where needed.
* Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Our culture is built around our values:
* Passion – we go above and beyond.
* Ownership – we’re in it together.
* Trust – we do the right thing.
And in return
* Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working, flexi time and a work from anywhere policy.
* 24 days plus (extra day for each year of service, up to 27 days).
* Gifted Birthday day off.
* 3 gifted days off over the Christmas closure (transferrable to other religious holidays).
* A joy Day (a day just for you to spend doing something that makes you happy).
* Health Shield and a health cash plan allowing employees to claim money back on everyday healthcare costs, such as optical, dental and holistic therapies.
* We Care – an employee assistance programme offering services such as counselling support, legal advice and nutrition advice.
* Enhanced family‑friendly policies.
* Unlimited breakfast, snacks and fruit available in the office.
* New business and employee referral bonuses.
* Electric car salary sacrifice scheme.
