Alexander Steele are working exclusively with an established food manufacturer in Dunfermline who are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their site engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced food or FMCG manufacturing environment, ideally with an electrical bias.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to plant breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime
* Conduct routine preventative maintenance in line with schedules and company standards
* Work across a variety of food production machinery including conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging equipment
* Support site-wide improvement initiatives, including reliability, efficiency, and health & safety
* Participate in root cause analysis to reduce recurring faults and drive engineering solutions
* Collaborate closely with production, hygiene, and technical teams to ensure site targets are met
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and adhere to site compliance standards
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment and uphold food safety and GMP standards
On Offer
* £45,000 – £50,000 annual salary
* Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm
* Company pension
