An exciting opportunity has become available in the Green Infrastructure Team to manage, develop, and provide countryside services across a range of sites in the north of the borough and including the Bollin Valley Partnership area. The position is 37 hours per week.
About this role
You will manage and develop countryside services, facilities, and staff to deliver a countryside management service ensuring that a professional countryside service is provided across an operational area for the benefit of visitors and the natural environment. The role is centred on land management best practice balancing the betterment of the natural environment alongside promoting recreational opportunities. The role will also require management of the Council’s pedigree Longhorn cattle herd.
