An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Goole Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) due to the post holder currently being seconded into another post.
We are looking to offer a development opportunity for a Social worker to step up to Senior social worker and lead the social care team within Goole CMHT.
The applicant must be currently working as a Social Worker within East Riding Council Adult Social Care at Grade 7B and have experience of managing a complex caseload and supervising staff.
This post is within an integrated Mental Health Team along side Humber Foundation Trust, with both Health and Social care staff. We are looking for someone with recent and relevant experience working with people experiencing Mental Health difficulties, and experience of working in an Multi Disciplinary Setting (MDT) setting. The applicant must be passionate and driven with strong social work values to ensure the social work profession is upheld within the service.
The applicant must have a willingness to develop and to adapt in a changeable landscape. The applicant will be expected to support in service development to ensure we continue to provide a good standard of Mental Health Care within the East Riding.
The Successful candidate will be closely supported through out this secondment and there will be a focus on their development and leadership skills.
This opportunity will be available up to and no later than 01/07/2026.
