The Role
You will work closely with classroom teacher(s) to support teaching and learning. You will use your knowledge and skills to carry out specified tasks, while providing high-quality care, guidance and supervision to pupils.

Person Specification
Essential:
* Level 3 Childcare or relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification that meets the requirements of the Government’s Early Years qualification checker.
* A genuine passion for working with young children
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A positive, proactive and caring attitude
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Ability to support pupils with a range of needs
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
Desirable:
* Previous experience working in an early years or school setting
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or primary curriculum
* Experience supporting children with additional needs
