Job Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to ensure that our clients customers internationally receive a first class experience in their contact within the business
To provide support to the commercial team in their day-to-day activities and to help them in delivering the business growth objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Full responsibility for customer orders from receipt to delivery.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers & suppliers.
3. Calculate the cost of goods and services to ensure customer requirements are met, whilst achieving/succeeding expected target margins.
4. Communicate with customers to offer the best service.
5. Book road transport for UK and EUR deliveries.
6. Plan routes and book transport for imports & exports by air or sea freight.
7. Understand differing requirements and prepare paperwork when shipping internationally.
8. Resolve transport & shipment issues.
9. Liaise with all departments within the business to ensure commercial, procurement, finance, design and technical requirements are met.
10. Raise & follow-up supplier non-conformances to ensure full corrective actions are received and customer satisfaction is achieved.
11. Work with customers to analyse forecasts, and co-ordinate with procurement to forward plan material requirements.
12. Ensure all customer details are maintained and up to date on thedatabase.
13. Deputise in the absence of key staff:
