Location:Trafford Park
Salary:£24.47 per hour (including shift premium) + Technician Grade Bonus
Hours:4 on / 4 off night shift pattern, 6:00pm 6:00am
Contract:Permanent
Overview
Were looking for experiencedHGV Techniciansto join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Trafford Park. Working nights on a 4 on / 4 off shift, youll be carrying out a range of maintenance, servicing and repairs to keep vehicles safe, compliant and on the road.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, repairs and inspections on HGVs
* Diagnose and rectify faults in line with DVSA standards
* Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and presentation
* Complete accurate job cards and paperwork
* Work to manufacturer and company procedures to ensure first-time fixes
* Support colleagues and maintain a safe, efficient workshop environment
What Youll Need
* Recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI) or equivalent
* Proven experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
* Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults
* Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable)
* Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on a 4 on / 4 off pattern
