Digital Marketing Apprentice – Think Mad

Think Mad is a fast-growing digital marketing and web development agency based in Widnes, Cheshire. We work with a wide range of clients across construction, security, hospitality, healthcare, and more. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated and creative Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who is eager to learn all aspects of digital marketing while gaining hands-on experience in a busy agency environment. You'll work alongside our senior team members, supporting live projects and campaigns while studying towards a Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship qualification.
About the Role
Working with the support of our marketing team, you will gain experience across a wide range of tasks, including website management, content creation, SEO, paid advertising, and social media campaigns. You'll be actively involved in delivering results for real clients, giving you a strong foundation for a long-term career in digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
With training and support, you will:
* Assist with updating client websites (mainly WordPress) including adding new content and products.
* Help create engaging written, photo, and video content for use across websites and social media.
* Support the planning and scheduling of client social media campaigns.
* Carry out keyword research and assist with SEO tasks to improve website visibility.
* Learn how to use analytics tools to track campaign performance and create simple reports.
* Contribute ideas to creative campaigns and marketing strategies.
* Support the wider team on digital marketing projects across construction, security, hospitality, and healthcare sectors.

Entry Requirements:
* Aged 16+ and not in full-time education.
* *5 or 6 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4–9 (A–C)**, including English and Maths.
* Grades 7, 8, or 9 in English and Maths are highly desirable.
