Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Art Director to play a key leadership role within our design team and agency. Responsibilities include managing and developing client relationships, leading design direction, and delivering high-quality work. The role requires inspiring and guiding the design team to reach their full potential, translating strategic ideas into polished deliverables, and presenting to stakeholders internally and externally.
Our team has built a strong culture centered on passion, excellence, and energy. This position offers a hybrid work model, with offices in Manchester and central London, encouraging team members to attend meetings and events in person.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Manage and lead project execution, ideate and design original digital and print pieces
* Assess client needs and develop innovative creative solutions
* Review briefs, provide feedback, and help allocate resources for design projects
* Act as a brand champion on dedicated accounts
* Support resource management on an ad-hoc basis
* Lead internal team meetings and inspire the team daily
* Oversee and provide feedback to designers, ensuring work aligns with strategy and brand guidelines
* Ensure all materials are consistent in layout and branding elements
* Meet client objectives and deadlines
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), with experience in Midjourney and Firefly preferred, and PowerPoint
* Interest in healthcare and innovative science
Experience:
* Experience working in a design or creative studio
* Comfortable presenting and dealing with senior clients and teams
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
* A keen eye for detail and passion for great design
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in arts, graphic arts, or related field, or relevant work experience
* 6+ years of experience
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
* Clear and concise communication skills
* High attention to accuracy and detail
