WR Fundraising Recruitment is proud to be working with a brilliant regional charity that has supported young homeless people or those at risk of homelessness for over 50 years.

The charity provides a range of support programmes across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands area and we are looking for a relationship builder to join a dynamic fundraising team as a Corporate Partnerships Officer.

The charity has an amazing portfolio of support from both local and national businesses, and we need a new fundraising executive to manage those relationships while looking for new supporters across the area.

This is officially a hybrid role (once a month in the office) but we need someone willing and able to be out meeting those crucial supporters and the expectation of the role is more home/meeting based.


Corporate Fundraising Officer

Birmingham with expectation to cover meetings across the West Midlands

Full time, Permanent

Up to Circa £28,000 on experience


Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Work with the Head of Fundraising on the delivery of an exciting corporate fundraising strategy
* Engage with local businesses and organisations to actively develop supporters to donate income
* Identify appropriate businesses for strategic partnerships, sponsorships and other corporate support
* Prepare and present high-quality new business proposals, pitches, and presentations to win new business
* Maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities, to support long term fundraising targets
* Build on the relationship with corporate contacts and networking for new business


Applicants will need:

* Experience and ability to develop fundraising relationships with corporate partners
* Confident and appropriate manner in dealing with the public and with corporate partners from a range of business types
* Experience of liaising with and managing high level supporters, external suppliers and customers, and a solid understanding of the principles of customer care
* Demonstrable communication skills, in person, online and in written media.
* Excellent project and time management skills.
