Job Title: Automation Manufacturing Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation and optimisation of robotic welding cells, working closely with system integrators to ensure smooth integration and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with system integrators to design, implement, and optimize robotic welding cells for manufacturing processes.
* Lead the setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automated welding systems to improve productivity and quality.
* Ensure smooth integration of robotic welding cells into existing production lines, addressing any technical challenges that arise.
* Provide technical support and training to production teams on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
* Monitor and analyze the performance of automated welding systems, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, engineering, and production requirements.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in welding techniques, robotics, and automation systems to continuously improve processes and drive innovation.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in automation engineering, specifically with robotic welding systems.
* Strong understanding of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.) and how they integrate with robotic systems.
* Hands-on experience with the implementation and troubleshooting of automation and robotics solutions.
* Familiarity with PLC programming, robotic control systems, and industrial automation platforms.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external system integrators.
* A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with leading or participating in the development of new automation systems.
* Knowledge of CAD software and simulation tools for robotic system design.
* Familiarity with safety standards and best practices for robotic systems in manufacturing environments.
