About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant Night Shift at Launton Grange, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our care. Every person working here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories. Joining us provides a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Tasks include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and providing social stimulation, as well as medication administration.
One key responsibility as a Senior Care Assistant Night Shift is to maintain accurate records and build strong team relationships.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns if necessary.
