Job Title: Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary and Benefits: £55,000 – £80,000 plus company vehicle, fuel card, annual leave allowance and pension scheme
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected name within the Asbestos Removals industry, which has a stronghold in the South East region. The candidate will oversee new and existing projects, manage teams efficiently and provide a tailored service to clients. A background in sales is advantageous to support future expansion. The role is based in the South East office and will oversee both licensed and non‑licensed projects for local authority, commercial and domestic client accounts.

Experience / Qualifications
* Successful track record as an Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager
* ARCA/UKATA training is preferred
* SSSTS/SMSTS certification
* Excellent industry technical knowledge
* Strong team and project management skills
* Strong organisation and self‑management abilities
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
Responsibilities
* Oversee the successful running of licensed and non‑licensed asbestos removal projects
* Manage teams of site staff and subcontractors
* Plan projects and allocate workloads to ensure efficiency
* Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and technical advice
* Complete initial site inspections, conduct risk assessments and scope work before projects begin
* Collate detailed quotations and bids to win future projects
* Promote company services to support business growth
* Support site staff, troubleshoot issues and oversee day‑to‑day queries
* Order materials/toors and manage equipment hire and off‑hire
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
* Complete required project documentation
* Maintain strong client relationships
* Lead training where required and identify competency gaps within the workforce
