The Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Softcat's enterprise-wide transformation agenda. This role is accountable for orchestrating complex, cross-functional change that delivers tangible business outcomes while staying true to Softcat’s culture and ways of working.
Responsibilities
* Owning and driving the transformation roadmap for the relevant function, aligning initiatives to Softcat's strategic priorities and long-term ambitions
* Leading cross-functional transformation programmes, ensuring clarity of scope, outcomes, dependencies and success measures
* Providing strong change leadership, creating alignment across senior stakeholders and removing barriers to progress
* Establishing and maintaining effective governance, including decision‑making forums, prioritisation frameworks and progress reporting
* Ensuring benefits realisation, tracking outcomes and value delivered, not just activity completed
* Partnering closely with Technology, Process and Change teams to ensure solutions are pragmatic, scalable and adopted
* Embedding a consistent approach to transformation, including principles, guardrails and ways of working across initiatives
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading largescale, enterprise transformation in a complex, fast-growing organisation
* Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate ambition into executable plans
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with credibility at senior leadership level
* Experience working across end-to-end processes, ideally spanning multiple functions
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making informed decisions and driving momentum
* A collaborative, pragmatic leader who can balance rigour with Softcat's unique culture
