My client is a fast-growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business investing heavily in its future. They are looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join their night shift team on a temporary basis of up to 16 months.
The Multiskilled Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Time-served or Level 3 qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (with strong mechanical experience)
* Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment
* Confident carrying out fault finding, strip-downs, and rebuilds on production machinery
* Experience working on conveyors, pumps, bearings, chains, belts, and rotary machinery
* Familiar with pneumatic systems including valves, cylinders, and airlines
* Able to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability
* Some electrical fault finding experience (motors, sensors, drives) is beneficial but not essential
* Able to work independently and make decisions on nights with minimal supervision
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working a permanent night shift pattern
The Multiskilled Engineer will benefit from the following:

* Monday–Thursday nights, 10:00pm–8:00am (three-day weekend every week)
