Market 36 Recruitment are currently for part time Finance Assistant on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a permanent basis.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Purchase and Sales ledger account management.
* Assist with daily financial transactions and data entry into accounting systems.
* Prepare and process invoice, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
* Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation.
* Collaborate with the Finance team on month-end and year-end tasks.
* Respond to financial queries from colleagues and external partners.
* Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Experience, education & qualifications
* Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
* Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
* AAT Level 2 or similar finance qualification
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Salary: £18,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:30 – 14:30 (25 hours per week)
